We are beyond excited to share a 3-Part video series with Freedom Boat Club created by our friends at Salt Strong! As a Freedom Boat Club member, one of my favorite perks of membership is the fact that members get access to 400+ locations worldwide! A lot of our members enjoy going down to Florida or other locations along the Gulf Coast and using their reciprocal access. One of the most popular activities to enjoy is fishing.
Enjoy this video series for some great tips from Joe and Luke Simonds from Salt Strong on how to make the most of your upcoming fishing adventures with Freedom Boat Club!
Lots of questions came in asking us to demonstrate how you can catch loads of fish when fishing using the types of boats that are provided by Freedom Boat Club (or other boat clubs).
Usually, their fleets don’t include boats with trolling motors or Power-Poles. And the draft on their boats won’t enable you to get into very shallow water (unless they have flats boats available).
So can you still fish for redfish, sea trout, snook, flounder, and other inshore species with boats from Freedom Boat Club?
ABSOLUTELY!
In this video series, you will learn how you can drift flats, fish bridges, and even troll for trout without the use of a trolling motor or power pole and all at the same time catch TONS of inshore saltwater fish.
Take a look right here!!

EASY DRIFT TRICK [VIDEO]
Next, we use the wind to drift fish an area with crazy success.

BRIDGE FISHING WITH SHRIMP [VIDEO]
Lastly, we use live shrimp to show the best way to fish small bridges for mangrove snapper.
Using a weedless shrimp rig in these scenarios is one of our favorite ways to find feeding fish around bridge pilings.
