Watts Bar Lake is situated in the heart of the Tennessee River Valley. Tennessee National Marina is conveniently located just 20 minutes from the Farragut area right off the Loudon Exit. Watts Bar Lake offers 70 miles of water access that members can enjoy!
One of the south's largest lakes at 39,000 acres, it extends 72.4 miles between Watts Bar Dam and Ft. Loudon Dam with the maximum depth being approximately 70 feet near the dams. The lake was created in 1942 and is regulated by the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA).
The principal tributaries are the Tennessee River and Clinch River with the Emory River also flowing directly into the Clinch River.
Roane County, TN is lucky enough to be located on Watts Bar Lake, enjoying the more than 700 shoreline miles it offers. Here you will find marinas, restaurants, campgrounds, and resorts - all right on the water!
